As Director of MCAA Basketball, I would like to thank you for your participation in our youth basketball program in the Mill Creek Community. I would also like to welcome the many new families to our community. The MCAA Basketball Board encourages everyone to actively participate by volunteering to be a coach, a team mom, or a scorekeeper. We had over 950 players and 138 teams for children of ages 5 to 17. Additionally, if you are enrolled in high school and 18 years of age, we also welcome these students to participate. MCAA Basketball continues to grow and we need volunteers. Remember to complete a volunteer form when you register your child to play this year. MCAA Basketball was excited to provide separate programs for boys and girls of ages 5-6 these last 2 year. We have worked hard for several years to make this happen. We had 4 girls’ teams and 12 boy’s teams in the 5-6 age groups, and we hope that we can continue to grow these two separate leagues for the enjoyment of each participant. |

The MCAA Basketball Board has been at work this off-season strengthening our relationship with the Mill Creek High School basketball programs. We had hoped to continue to utilize Mill Creek High School again this year but the gym is not available to MCAA this fall. We will have our pre-season jamboree weekend at Bogan Park this season. |

|
Additionally, each participant in the MCAA program will receive an MHCS 6th Man shirt again this season. This will give every MCAA player free admission to all high school basketball games played at MCHS for both boys and girls this season. MCAA encourages you to attend MCHS home games and support these programs. |
Finally, our full season calendar of events can be viewed on the MCAA web site using the calendar link under basketball or at QuickScores. A tentative game schedule by age group is posted for the regular season |
