REGISTRATION - Saturday March 29th, 10am-2pm, Mill Creek High School

UNIFORM FITTINGS- MANDATORY- Saturday March 29th, 10am-3pm at Mill Creek High School. Wear a bathing suit or leotard for easy sizing!!!

MANDATORY 8TH grade meeting/uniform fittings. April 1st, 6pm Mill Creek High
If you are unable to attend the meeting on April 1st please contact cheerleadingdirector@millcreekaa.net PRIOR to March 29th.

All Cheerleaders MUST register online on March 29th from 10am-2pm.

REGISTRATION PAYMENT OPTIONS

1.     ONLINE: Credit/Debit cards (Visa or MC only) will be accepted online at www.millcreekaa.net

By registering online and using your credit/debit card, you will be able to pay for your registration and uniform cost. You must attend fittings at Mill Creek High after registering online.

2.     IN PERSON: Cash, checks, credit/debit cards are accepted in person at Mill Creek High School.

      AMOUNT TO PAY:

1.       Pay the entire amount on March 29th- either online or in person
2.       Pay installments-  *Pay registration fee ($150), Camp fee, half the uniform cost, plus the fundraiser on March 29th.
                                    *Pay remainder of uniform cost by May 1st.
                                    *Pay Spirit Fee ($100) by June 1st.

**$35 camp fee must be paid with a separate check/cash payable to Mill Creek Community School on March 29th.
**Once a uniform is ordered, there will be NO REFUNDS
**
All money must be paid and cleared through the bank before a cheerleader will be placed on a team.

Squad Placement- Per GFL rules, Mill Creek is not permitted to draft squads until just prior to the start of camp. Expect a call from your coach after the squads are drafted, and a team meeting on July 27th.

CAMP- Our season officially begins with camp that runs from July 28th-July 31st from 6:00-8:00 nightly at Mill Creek High School’s stadium. EVERY CHEERLEADER should plan to attend camp. Camp is a week full of learning cheers, chants, jumps, stunts and dance routines. Anyone missing camp runs the risk of falling behind the other girls. PLEASE PLAN YOUR VACATION PRIOR TO JULY 27th!!!!

PRACTICE- After Camp concludes teams will practice 2-3 times a week beginning the week of August 4th. Before school starts, practices can be 2 hours long. Once school starts, the practice time is limited to 1-½ hours. Most teams practice on Mon/Thurs or Tues/Thurs. Squads in grades 1-5 tend to practice between the hours of 5:30-8:30pm. Some middle school squads practice after school. Your cheerleading coach will determine the hours and the location that your squad will practice.

All squads will practice at either Bogan Park, Osborne Middle or Duncan Creek Park.

CHEER-OFF- All our squads, grades 1st-8th will attend Cheer-off this season. Expect additional practices to prepare for cheer-off. Many squads plan to learn their Cheer-off routine the week after camp. PLEASE PLAN VACATIONS PRIOR TO CAMP WEEK.

GAMES- We play games all over the county. We do not receive our schedule from Gwinnett Football League until just before the season starts.

BIRTH CERTIFICATE- Copies of your daughter’s Birth Certificate should be brought to registration.
