Information for the 2008 season will be posted as decisions are made and information from the Gwinnett Football League is made available.  Determination of registration fees, discounts, jerseys, and game pants will be made over the next few months based upon quotes we will be receiving from different sporting good retailers as well as uniform companies.

 
Out of county fees are determined by Gwinnett County Parks and Recreations and will be posted as we learn that fee requirement for the 2008 football season.
 
Registration Cost & Process:
Registration Cost: $185.00 / player - cost includes GAME JERSEY, GAME PANT, & PRACTICE JERSEY

Online Registration will be open from 10:00am on March 29th until June 21st @ 2:00pm.

All jersey and pant orders will be submitted after the March 29th registration so if you don't register and get sized on March 29th we cannot offer any assurance that you will have the proper sizes in pant and jersey.

Please register online starting on March 29th @ 10:00am, after you register online please come to Mill Creek High School for fitting of your jersey and pant!  We are changing jersey manufacturer this year so all jersey sizes will be different than previous years!
 
Helmet Recertification & Repaint:
For the 2008 season we will require all helmets be NOCSAE certified, we have partnered with Riddell Corporation to provide this service for Mill Creek.  All helmets will be checked prior to evaluations for a 2008 NOCSAE stamp.  The decision was made to require NOCSAE certification because of the escalating number of concussions in football and the need to assure that our players are playing with helmet gear that is working properly.

During this process we have worked out an arrangement to change our helmet color from Navy to Las Vegas Sting Gold (the Mill Creek Varsity Color).

On March 29th, during the walk-up registration, Riddell Corporation will be onsite collecting helmets!  Please follow this process:

1) Please register online or at Mill Creek High School, please make sure to print your registration certificate and bring it with you.
2) Please remove your face mask, leave all other equipment inside the helmet.
3) Please bring your helmet & registration certificate to the Riddell center at Mill Creek High School, it will be located at the main entrance of Mill Creek High School.
4) They will collect your helmet and label it with your registration certificate number, please bring it with you.
5) Your helmet will be delivered to Riddell corporation and it will be NOCSAE certified and repainted, they will be returned in June.

** What if I want a new Las Vegas Sting Gold Helmet **
Riddell Corporation and Elite Sports will be onsite during the March 29th registration, both vendors will be selling helmets!  If you purchase a helmet prior to March 29th please bring it to the Riddell area follow the process for old helmets and your new helmet will be painted properly.
 

Fundraisers:

Every year we must raise additional funds to support our program and the cost associated with an operation as large as Mill Creek.  We will evaluate the use of a fundraiser to help with items such as new game pants, new practice gear, facility upgrades, and items for Duncan Creek Park.

We have teamed up with the Varsity Hawks once again to offer the Hawk Card Fundraiser, you can either sell 5 $10.00 cards or pay $35.00 to opt-out of the fundraiser.

 
Spirit Fees:
Each team will be responsible for raising funds to support the team through-out the year.  The football board will work with the coaches in an attempt to create guidelines for an acceptable fee, we will ask that each team set a spirit fee that will be agreed upon by the football board, the 2008 Spirit Fee will be $100.00 / player.
 
Equipment not provided by Mill Creek Football:

Helmet - $95 to $150, Shoulder Pads - $35 to $60, Pads for Pants - $15 to $20, Practice Pants (should purchase multiple pairs) - $15 to $25, Cleats - $25 to $100, Socks - $5 to $10.

 
Football Camp & Speed/Agility Camps:
Mill Creek Football plans to offer a football camp for the 2008 season.  Camps will be instructed by the staff of Mill Creek High School and the camp will be done at Mill Creek High School.

Camp will be offered July 7th until 10th, with Friday being a rainout date.  Camp will be offered through the Mill Creek Community School and you will have to pay them prior to attendance.  Please watch for their flyer on our website prior to the camp.
